I’ve been trying to think of easy and quick ways to add excitement to dishes, so here is what I conjured up last night. The base of the mix is left over carrots, cauliflower, and yellow squash mixed with some fresh frozen green beans (does that make sense? fresh frozen?). So that looked really boring and plain, so I chopped up a handful of Marcona almonds (they’re softer than the typical almonds, and I think they taste fabulous) and tossed those in.
Voila
I think I need to work on better presentation.
Greeks always say that even if the food doesn’t taste as great, presentation is everything XD. Though personally it looks kind of nice, all vibrants colours and such ^__^

I think fresh frozen is an oxymoron. xD But that looks and sounds good. I don’t think it matters how it looks though, as long as it tastes good.

It looks delicious. I love almonds. When I make food, it always looks like a huge mess. XD

Camilla: That is a good outlook on it. XD Thank you. I find it visually unpleasing that I have almond bits on the bowl showing in the background of the photo. Though that might not matter really.
Laura: I thought so too but it was fresh out of the freezer. Made sense to me. Taste is like only half of food, though. =P
Kar: I love almonds too. You should hone up those preparation skillz. Thnaks. =D
